Being a mountainous area, the temperatures are very low in Ariha city in northwest Syria. Therefore, in our activity last week, we targeted this city, located on a very dangerous contact line, where our teams equipped and distributed winter clothing to needy families. This included warm clothes, blankets, and covers, to ensure a warmer and more comfortable winter.

We share with you the latest update on the Winter Supplies Campaign, in which we distributed quantities of "Bireen" material dedicated to heating.

Yesterday, thanks to your continuous support and response to our call, SEMA distributed 256 portions of Bireen material (heating material) targeting the neediest families in the cities of Salqin and Ariha in northwest Syria.

Each family received a portion of 80 kilograms of heating fuel.

It is worth mentioning that we recently distributed European diesel fuel to five schools in the city of Jisr al-Shughour in northwest Syria, in addition to distributing 400 safe heaters to the Safa camp in southern Turkey, where Syrian refugees affected by the earthquake reside.

On the brink of a severe cold wave, the SEMA team distributed safe heaters to the residents of Al-Safa camp in Hatay, southern Turkey, who are Syrian refugees affected by the earthquake that struck the region on February 6th.
