Details About the Water Well and Why It Is Needed

SAPA is supporting the construction and installation of one new water well near El-Geneina Hospital.

The hospital already has an existing well; however, its capacity is no longer sufficient to meet the needs of all hospital departments.

Why Does A Water System Cost $100,000 In El Geneina?

In El Geneina, years of conflict have damaged water infrastructure while shortages of power, fuel, funding and technical capacity make water systems difficult to operate and maintain.

Displacement has also placed additional pressure on already limited water supplies.
